diagrams, a visualisation technique for numerical matrices in
which the area of each square is proportional to the magnitude
of the corresponding entry. For signed data, white squares
indicate positive values and black squares indicate negative
values on a grey background. Hinton diagrams are especially
useful for visualising PCA weight matrices, correlation
matrices, and transition matrices.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/robin-foster-rf/actions/runs/28641105634</link><pubDate>Thu, 02 Apr 2026 16:44:13 GMT</pubDate><r:package>gghinton</r:package><r:version>0.1.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://robin-foster-rf.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/robin-foster-rf/gghinton</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>gghinton.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>gghinton.html</r:filename><r:title>Getting Started with gghinton</r:title><r:created>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>use-cases.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>use-cases.html</r:filename><r:title>Hinton Diagrams in Practice: A Gallery</r:title><r:created>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>mackay-itila.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>mackay-itila.html</r:filename><r:title>MacKay's ITILA Examples</r:title><r:created>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-03-29 11:10:46</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>why-hinton.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>why-hinton.html</r:filename><r:title>Why Hinton Diagrams?</r:title><r:created>2026-03-29 10:18:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-03-29 11:10:46</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
